Email from Missy’s family on 10-28-06: Quote “Missy arrived safely at her new home around 12 noon; we took her out into her new backyard where she ran around and played with the leaves. She is such a BEAUTIFUL puppy; very alert and eager to play! She did her business, then she came inside to explore the house. Missy loves her toys and we played in the living room. She has had water from her water bowl and went outside again at 1PM; again she found her spot. We are so delighted with her. .........Thank you for sending the toys and blanket. Missy is adjusting well and loves to run and play. Her bark is sweet. I think she will love it here; we love having her here. When I figure out how to get pictures off the digital camera, we'll sent some pictures as she grows. Again, thank you so much. I hope your family returns safely home. Best wishes and may God continue you to bless you!’ unquote
Email from Missy’s family on 10-30-06: Quote “Hi: just an update for you on Missy. We have changed her name to Ginny and will register her as Virginia Rose (Rose in honor of her mother)....... We are so pleased with how she is adapting to her new life. She is having so much fun playing in her yard and with her toys. She is eating well and lets us know when she needs to answer nature's call. She has learned to climb up and down the stairs leading from the deck to the yard. Ginny slept well the first night (Sat) and whined less than two minutes before settling down for the night. Last night, she whined and barked a while longer (don't really know why). She sleeps in her crate with a soft cushion, a toy, and her litter blanket. Ginny likes her treats! ...... gave her a small piece of cheese yesterday: I think he has a friend for life. We are having so much fun playing with her and just watching her re-action to things. She likes to nap on the couch and will sometimes sit up on the back of the couch and gaze out the window. She is also getting used to watching football; the tv interests her. Please rest assured Ginny is doing well; we couldn't love her more. We'll keep you posted; hope all is well with you. Thaks for sharing Ginny with us! unquote
