Email received from Riggs family on 12/10/11:  Quote "Attached is a picture of Riggs that was taken this evening. Riggs is really smart. We started In-Home training on Wednesday and he has already begun to respond to Sit / Stay and Come when he hears the clicker. We hope to teach him several more commands and hand signs over the next 4 weeks. He enjoys going outside to play but we’ve been unable to stop him from sampling grass, small sticks, tree bark, and acorns. We have thoroughly enjoyed every moment with him.

We’ll send more photos as he matures." Unquote

Received pic and email 01/14/12 from Riggs' family: Quote "Attached is picture of Riggs taken today 01.14.12 at a Columbia  Park.  We've had several in-home training sessions that have been wonderful but today was our first attempt to 'socialize" Rigs with other dogs.  Riggs handled it extremly well - "no big deal" attitude.  Infact, he didn't even bark until we were almost ready to leave.  We also noticed today that he had lost a couple of his front baby teeth.  He is very smart, easily grasps new training sessions and often "rings the bell" to let us know he needs to go outside.  We love him and are thankful you allowed us to bring him to our home." unquote.

Email and pictures below from Riggs' family on 4/30/12:  Quote "It's hard to believe he is 7 months old. Our vet recommended that we consider agility training for him - so after attending a session to observe, we signed Riggs up for the beginner 6 week class. We completed the beginner class last week and will start the advanced beginner class this week. Riggs is a little bit of a show-off. There are 6 other dogs in the class, various breeds, including one three year old Doberman. Riggs is the youngest by far and has often been used to "show" the other dogs what to do. He's mastered running thru tunnels and jumping over consecutive hurdles. Can't wait to see what they will teach him next." unquote.
