Email sent by Abi's Family on 11/21/11:  Quote "Abi had her first vet visit this morning and passed with flying colors. Vet said she was the most beautiful puppy she had seen in a long time. Gave her an A++++++ in everything. Goes back next monday for next shot. Said she knew Abi couldn't take Ebony's place, but was glad to see a smile on my face. Knew Abi was making me very happy. She really has, she is giving me so much joy just like her name. She has the perfect name because she is very intelligent and beautiful. Have had a few accidents but doing very well. At least if she has an accident its right at the door where we go out to potty. lol First night in crate she whined for about 10 minutes and laid right down and went to sleep. Of course I slept on the couch right beside her crate. Last night she whined once and I kind of ignored her then about 15 minutes later I told her she was a good girl and she went right off to sleep. We got up about 1:30 am took a potty break and went right back to sleep. She is doing so wonderful.
I wished I would have had my video camera out. This morning after breakfast my  "child" was down on the floor watching Abi and she came over and started pulling at his pj's, He is so tiny they are a little big in the waist and she was pulling them right off of him. "Child" got so tickled and it pleased him so much he couldn't get up to get away from her. Then he talked to my mom later and that was the first thing he told her about. (Abi pulling down his pants) The kids just love her in such a short time. "Child" tries to be her mommy and make sure she has a toy at all times because she tries to chew everything. Good thing she has lots of chewing toys. Just wanted to let you know she is doing great. Has brought us so much joy. A little less talk about asking GOD to bring Ebony back in there prayers every night. Ebony will always be in our hearts and I know we will see her again, because I know she is in Heaven with God. Abi has touched our hearts in such a short time. I knew I loved her before I even met her." unquote

Email from Abi's family on 11/28/11:  Quote "Just checking in with first mom. Abi had her second visit to the vet today. She is doing great. Last week she was 5lbs even and today she weighed 5.14. Vet said that was great. Said she must be eating good. Doing like you said but she eats very well. Doing great with potty training. Couple accidents but she is doing better than my 3 yr old. lol. Sleeping 8 hrs in her crate with no accidents. She loves the outdoors running in the leaves and chasing the kids, balls, toys etc...... Hate when it rains she doesn't get to stay out much but we try as long as possible. Just that much more running in the house. Abi will go back to vet in 3 weeks for more shots. She has slept alot today, good thing with the rain, but she is raring to go tonight. Vet offered her a treat before giving her the shot and she refused it until after she got it. Abi is so smart, knows her name already, returns toys, balls etc ..... to you when playing with her, loves when you say Abi want a cookie?(knows exactly where I keep them and runs to the door). ............ Well gotta go play with Abi or she will never go to sleep tonight." Unquote.
