Emailed by Raleigh's family on 12/04/11:  Quote "Here's some pictures for you...she is amazing me. Not a yip last night...when we got up this morning I took her outside and she pottied...ate her breakfast, we went outside again and she pottied. We aren't without accidents but she is doing amazingly well. She is so funny...She runs through the house yipping at the other dogs...she is a favorite of Bentley's. She gets him started and they run and run around the kitchen island. She's starting to lose the fear she had of my opening doors with her in my arms...it was odd...if I opened the door while I was holding her she absolutely freaked out....I almost dropped her a few times...now she's cool about it. She's napping now..she went over to her crate and tried to get in but I had it shut so she layed down outside of it and layed her head on the cage and nodded off...so I put her in her bed. She is just what I was looking for." Unquote
Email from Raleigh's family 12/11/11:  Quote "It's only been a week since Miss Raleigh has come to live with us but it seems like she's been here forever. She is so well adjusted...oh and she's mouthy as all get out. She barks when I open her cage up to let her out in the morning...she barks when she thinks I'm not getting food fast enough...she barks when I say "hey pretty girl"...she's such a riot! She loves playing with Bentley...and any other dog too...Rio..who is our largest sheltie...will play tug of war with her...and he pulls her across the floor so gently...it's really cute. Pottying outside is coming along. She will not potty in her cage...she can hold it forever...but when she's out being Raleigh, and playing...forget outside. I have to stay on it and take her out like every half hour or so. She'll get there. She also loves loves loves ripping cardboard...she's found every bit of cardboard and she destroys it...lol...as you can see in the one picture...that's her handiwork...lol" unquote

Email received 02/03/12: Quote "let me tell you about my girl...lol. She learned to sit quite a while ago...but in the last week she has learned gimme paw...sometimes I tell her high five and she slaps my hand...speak....speak louder cause she always starts out so quietly...and tonight she immediately knew down when I told her. My oldest son told me I need to train his rat terrier cause Raleigh is picking things up so quickly...I told him rat terriers weren't smart enough to do the things shelties do...lol. Here is a 4 month old picture. She's gorgeous.She loves the snow...she loves breaking up a good photo op...both of the blurry pictures were my trouble maker jumping in on shots that would have been awesome...so they ended up memories instead...lol She's so funny" unquote   (See pics below that were sent with the email)
